Education

There is a lot of learning that can happen through working with horses and animals. Our service can be adapted to meet the needs of your learners. Some examples of what we can offer are below:

• Animal care and attention - learn about animal welfare and how to care for different types of animals. Learn about the characteristics of different animals/breeds. Observe sheep being shorn, horses hooves being trimmed (as well as goats), how to administer drench, grooming, feeding and diet.

• Awareness of body language/posture - develop an awareness of one's self and how to have more physical and mental control and awareness. Use the horses/ponies as a mirror, use their wisdom to guide personal growth.

• Ground work and riding (smaller groups).

• Links to literacy with the animals
